These week we’ll be featuring our amazing Class of 2012 Seniors as they near graduation! It’s crazy to think of how fast the year has flown by from capturing their senior portraits last summer and fall to graduation this coming weekend.
We’ve asked each senior a few questions to reflect on some of their favorite moments and memories from senior year to accompany our favorite senior portraits from their session.
First up is Jess, Class of 2012 graduate from Beekmantown High School!
J&D Seniors: What are you plans after graduation?
Jess: I’ll be attending the University of Vermont, majoring in Food Science and continuing my athletic career by playing hockey and running track!
J&D Seniors: What are you looking forward to most after graduation?
Jess: Rebuilding my family camp on the lake that was destroyed last summer in the floods. That’s goal number one!
That’s her camp in the background of this image! We shot her entire senior portrait session there and in the surrounding areas because it meant so much to her.
J&D Seniors: What are some of your proudest accomplishments from high school, whether they’re personal, academic, athletic, etc.?
Jess: Athletics! Making all state and the CVAC first team!
Jess was part of the Beekmantown 400 meter relay team that captured the Division II state title in Syracuse a few weeks back!
J&D Seniors: What is your favorite memory of Senior year?
Jess: Celebrating goals and wins with my teammates in all three sports! Best. Feeling. Ever!
J&D Seniors: What advice would you give the Class of 2013 as they enter their Senior year?
Jess: Just do you and keep an open mind. You may find things you never thought you’d like. Cherish each moment with your class, it all ends too soon. You will grow close with them I promise!
Congratulations Jess on such an amazing finish to your high school career! We’re certain that college will be just as amazing for you and we can’t wait to hear more about your accomplishments. We’re so glad we could capture this exciting time in your life for you!
